Celtics Bounce Back With Win Over Cavaliers

Cavaliers Lose At Home In Game 2

Boston Leads Series 2-1

The Boston Celtics bounced back from a Game 1 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 117-108 win in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series on Tuesday night. The Celtics led by as many as 20 points in the first half and held on for the victory despite a late rally by the Cavaliers.

Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 29 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Jaylen Brown added 23 points, and Marcus Smart chipped in with 18 points. Darius Garland led the Cavaliers with 22 points, and Donovan Mitchell added 21 points.

The Celtics shot 50.6% from the field, including 10-of-26 from three-point range. The Cavaliers shot just 42.7% from the field and 8-of-31 from three-point range.

The Celtics now lead the series 2-1 and will host Game 4 on Thursday night. The Cavaliers will need to win at least one game in Boston to force a Game 7 back in Cleveland.

The win was a much-needed one for the Celtics, who had lost two straight games to the Cavaliers. The Celtics now have a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series with a win in Game 4.

The Cavaliers, meanwhile, will need to find a way to win on the road if they want to stay alive in the series. The Cavaliers have lost their last two games at home and will need to find a way to protect their home court in Game 4.
