Dominant Performance from Jokić and Murray

The Denver Nuggets have reestablished their home court advantage in the 2023 NBA Finals, defeating the Miami Heat 109-94 in Game 3 on Thursday night. Led by a combined 66 points from Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray, the Nuggets regained control of the series and now hold a 2-1 lead. After blowing a late lead in Game 2, Jokić and the Nuggets responded with a dominant performance in Game 3. Jokić, in particular, was unstoppable, recording the first 30-point, 20-rebound, 10-assist triple-double in NBA Finals history. Murray added 25 points and 7 assists, while Aaron Gordon contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds. The Nuggets dominated inside outscoring the Heat 60-34 in the paint and outrebounding them 58-33. Denver's defense was also impressive, holding Miami to just 34% shooting from the field and 29% from three-point range. The victory gives the Nuggets a significant advantage in the series. Teams that win Game 3 of a 1-1 NBA Finals hold a 78% chance of winning the championship. Game 4 of the series will be played on Saturday night in Denver.
